This centre has been endorsed by Ipnet as a Porphyria Expert Clinical Centre (PECC).

The Swiss Reference Center for Porphyrias provides diagnostics, specialist consultations, treatments, and follow-ups for all types of acute and cutaneous porphyrias.
We also advise health care professionals on questions about the optimal diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in patients with porphyrias or suspicion of a porphyria.
In addition, we investigate various scientific questions regarding all forms of porphyrias in national and international research networks.
We have a regular exchange with the national patient organization.
